Creating and Assigning a View to a Template
About curriculum views
The “Default View Insert” dropdown lets the user specify the view that this template will be inserted into by default when a new map, unit, topic or lesson is created. The view type determines what level it is inserted by default. For example, a default of CTE Topic View means the template will, by default, be inserted into the CTE topic field when a new topic is created. Below the dropdown box in the current view is the 'template title field.' Athough the field is not completely visible in this view, it is a very important one. Every new template MUST have a title that clearly describes it to the user. Name your templates carefully and descriptively.
